Author Dinah Little is a retired educator, professional developer, and entrepreneur living in Maryland. She is the author of Peppermint and Vinegar, a novel set in North Carolina in the 30’s-50’s exploring the changing times for women in light of the Great Depression and WWII.
This is her first mystery novel.
Peppermint and Vinegar
Roberta Freer, born 1913 in North Carolina, survives the years of the Great Depression and the service of her brothers in WWII.
From a bus journey to New York City with friends in 1936 to an encore visit in 1956, she experiences twentieth century changes that are foreign to most young readers today.
Follow her journey as she settles in with her life partner and husband Brent Sparks to navigate the changing times and pursue her dreams.
